The EASI-CLOUDS consortium met in Tampere, Finnland on the 27th of August. For three days detailed discussions about component integration and demonstrator details took place at the Tampere University of Technology. The working sessions where kicked off by beautiful northern lights prior to the first meeting day.
The Tampere meeting is followed up by more work on the demonstrator elements, the next consortium meeting will most likely take place in Paderborn, Germany.
The EASI-CLOUDS consortium met in Berlin from the 9th to the 11th of april. Partners from the different countries joined in and coordinated topics from project management down to low level implementation. An important aspect was the presentation of elements of the CompatibleOne project and the discussion of cooperative efforts.

As the newly formed European Cloud Partnership steering board has had its first meeting, cloud computing has been put on top level focus, raising additional awareness and helping to pave the way towards a european cloud eco-system. The EASI-CLOUDS consortium will contribute to this vision with its focus on cloud interoperability and SLA driven cloud services.
